Billed as the “world’s collision repair event,” the 2008 International Autobody Congress & Exposition opened its doors Nov. 5 at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center in Las Vegas. The four-day event, known as NACE, featured a variety of auto glass-related educational sessions, in addition to the Auto Glass Expo. A number of events took place in conjunction with NACE, including the International Auto Glass Safety Conference, the Walt Gorman Memorial Windshield Repair Olympics, the National Windshield Repair Association Annual Conference, the Auto Glass Technician Olympics and the Independent Glass Association Marketing Conference.

International Auto Glass Safety Conference
AGRSS audits to begin April 2009

In April 2009, the Auto Glass Replacement Safety Standards Council will begin auditing AGRSS-registered companies to ensure they are in compliance with the standard, officials announced at the group’s International Auto Glass Safety Conference Nov. 5 in Las Vegas.
