2014 Glass Magazine Award Winners Announced

Raising the Bar: Glass Magazine Award Winners Lead the Way in Innovation and Creativity

Glass Magazine has announced the winners in the 2014 Glass Magazine Award product and project categories. The prestigious glass and metal industry awards program recognizes the best products and glass applications the commercial, retail and fabrication markets have to offer.

“Once again the bar continues to be raised by the glass industry,” says Les Young, project manager for W & W Glass LLC, and judge for the 2014 Glass Magazine Awards. “This year’s entrants [for the GMAs] have displayed unparalleled creativity and implementation of that creativity and design. Regardless of the size of the projects that have been entered, they all show how we continue to push the envelope by using glass as the focal point.”

To determine the winners in the product and project categories, Glass Magazine submitted nominations to a panel of judges representing all segments of the glass and glazing industry. The judges then selected a winner in each category, to be featured in the July 8 edition of e‐glass weekly, the July 2014 issue of Glass Magazine, and on GlassMagazine.com.

Winners in the Glass Magazine Award best installer, production supervisor, project manager and sales representative categories are determined separately by their peers through an industry-wide online voting program, and will be announced in the September 2014 issue of Glass Magazine. Voting is currently underway. To read about these finalists and vote for the winners, visit www.glassmagazine.com/castyourvote.

Special thanks go to Glass Magazine Award sponsor GGI, for producing the 2014 Glass Magazine Award plaques, and to C.R. Laurence Co., for supplying the hardware.
