2014 Glass Magazine Award People Categories

Best project manager
Who is your go-to person when it comes to project management? That person you can always rely on to make sure projects run smoothly, on schedule, and most importantly, on budget? We want to know! Glass Magazine is looking to acknowledge those people who keep multiple balls in the air, as they stay calm (at least most of the time!): project managers who are efficient, reliable, capable of overseeing processes and people, and get the job done. Sound like someone you work with? Then nominate him or her. Click here to submit your nomination.

Best production supervisor
Behind every great team is a great coach. If you have a good team leader at your facility who brings out the best in his or her production staff; continually looks for ways to get the job done better, faster, and leaner; and empowers his or her employees, we want to hear about them. Click here to submit your nomination.

Best sales rep
What defines a great sales rep? Results is the obvious answer, but what personality factors and skill sets get results? Here are some of the “definers” we’ve heard—does your nominee fit the bill? Dynamic, energetic, memorable, driven, a good listener, a good talker, fun to be around (knows a good glass joke!), product knowledgeable, customer advocate, attuned to different needs, gets results for the customer and for his or her company, gets repeat business, not afraid of cold-calling and won’t take no for an answer. Sound like someone you work with? Then nominate him or her for Glass Magazine’s “Best Salesperson Award.” Click here to submit your nomination.

Best installer
What sets the best installers apart from their peers? Is it their ability to think on their feet and come up with creative solutions to onsite problems? Their commitment to accurate estimating, measuring and no call-back installations? Glass Magazine wants to know what sets your “Best Installer” nominee apart from the rest. Nominate him or her here.
