Fuel efficiency winners and losers

Fuel efficiency winners and losers

DodgeThe Dodge Dakota two-wheel drive and Mitsubishi Raider 2WD pickup trucks are the most fuel-efficient standard-size pickups for the 2008 model year, according to the U.S. Department of Energy site www.fueleconomy.gov. Both trucks get 16 miles to the gallon in the city and 20 on the highway.

The 2008 Roush Performance Stage 3 F150 2WD and 4WD models, along with the 2008 Tecstar LP Foose F150 2WD and 4WD models were the least fuel-efficient, offering just 11 miles to the gallon in the city and 15 on the highway, according to the site.
