The SpyderCrane Mini-Crawler offers versatility, maneuverability and lifting capacity in a compact design that enables users to quickly, safely and easily meet restricted and confined-area lifting requirements, according to officials from U.S. distributor SpyderCrane Sales. Manufactured by Japan’s FuruKawa Unic Corp., the unit is designed for indoor use in confined or limited access areas, and is only 24 inches wide when in the stowed position.
It has 52 possible outrigger settings, overturn protection, overload protection, a wireless remote control, a 6-foot off-settable jib with searcher hook, a 38-foot tip height and a 6,450-pound lifting capacity. This mini-crane also can be outfitted with a five-axis glass manipulator fixed to the boom tip. The glass manipulator has a 1,350-pound lifting capacity and its own remote control.
The SpyderCrane Mini-Crawler is available with gasoline, diesel, propane, 220V electric, battery power, or a combination of power sources.
