Competitors named for International Master Fitter 2008

InterAutoGlass announced the following names for The International Master Fitter Competition 2008 in an Oct. 9 release:

Daniel Andersen (Denmark)
Raymond Csurda (France)
Luca Gottardi (Italy)
Toshiyuki Isohata (Japan)
Arild Brattetaule (Norway)
Stefan Bengtsson (Sweden)
Jeff Olive (United States).

The competitors from Germany, Hungary, The Netherlands and Romania are not known yet. They will be the winners of national competitions that took place before the international event.

The international competition for autoglass specialists will take place during glasstec in Düsseldorf, Germany, Oct. 21–25, and is originally developed by the AGE. The show has already registered 1,000 exhibitors on an exhibition space of more than 65,500 square meters, according to the release. Messe Düsseldorf expects about 55,000 visitors on the leading trade fair for the glass sector.

The International Master Fitter Competition 2008 will be held Oct. 24 and Oct. 25. During the other glasstec days the audience could watch the Dutch and the German national competitions.
