Glass Mechanix transfers operations management

Glass Mechanix, Eugene, Ore., an auto glass repair equipment and supply company, entered into an agreement with GlasWeld Management Solutions, Bend, Ore., to manage its daily operations, including order fulfillment, customer service and marketing functions, according to a Dec. 2 GlasWeld release. Each company will retain its own identity, brand and ownership, but have become active partners in advancing the practice of windshield repair on an international level.

“Constantly improving our ability to serve our customers is, and always has been, our top goal,” said John Kiland, owner, Glass Mechanix, in the release. “Our agreement with GlasWeld Management Solutions will allow us to deliver enhanced customer service, distribution and product development roles even more effectively and efficiently.”

GlasWeld Management Solutions is a new division of GlasWeld that focuses on the complete management of glass-related businesses, while retaining and boosting individual brand identities. 

“Our goal in this venture is to raise the level of brand quality worldwide," said Mike Boyle, president, GlasWeld, in the release. "This, along with our leadership position in the sustainability movement, is sure to have a positive impact on the glass repair industry as a whole.”
