Consolidated Glass Holdings Inc., manufacturer, fabricator and distributor of high-performance glass and glazing products, announced the formation of its Eastern Division, Architectural Glass Fabrication and Specialty Products. This new division combines the capabilities and resources of Solar Seal in South Easton, Mass.; Insuplane in Hamden, Conn.; and Hawkins in Stafford, Va., according to an Aug. 8 CGH press release.

“These actions establish a highly flexible organization with increased capacity and product offerings gained through coordinated production and use of best practices across all three facilities," said Paul Cody, president and CEO, CGH, in the release. "The result is increased service, quality and reduced lead times for our customers.”

Frederic (Rick) Shaw, senior vice president, leads the Eastern Division, while Brian Shaw, vice president of sales, leads sales efforts for the division. Eric Shaw, vice president of operations, leads plant operations for the division.

“This leadership team brings extensive capability, experience and knowledge to their respective positions," said Cody. "I am very enthusiastic about our future with these excellent individuals taking on these new roles.”
