Installation of new glass lites for the Missoula International Airport air traffic control tower in Montana is nearing completion. The crew from Big Mountain Glass & Windows is lifting each of the 16 lites with a crane, attaching it inside and out. Each piece of the custom-made glass weighs 550 pounds, measures approximately 9 feet by 6 feet, and costs $3,500 to manufacture, according to an Oct. 13 article from the Missoulian.
