Glaston and Glass Performance Days joined with the City of Tampere, Finland, and the Tampere University of Technology to organize an architectural competition to design several glass structures to be built in central Tampere over the next few years. ALA Arkkitehdit's proposal," Magnolia", emerged as the winner in the first round of the competition, designing a glass pavilion for the Bank of Finland Square, according to a June 17 GPD release.
