At the Glasstec 2008 exhibition Oct. 21-25 in Düsseldorf, Germany, Glaston will show an enlargement to the widely respected flat tempering machine family, the Tamglass CHF, according to a Glaston release Sep. 15.

The new CHF Pro will also be presented at the GlassBuild America show  Oct. 6-8 in Las Vegas.

The Tamglass CHF Pro model is an improved version of the Tamglass CHF which has been especially developed for solar and architectural glass tempering that requires the highest quality of glass with high capacity and reliability. The machine features proprietary technology to heat treat glass with improved distortion characteristics while reducing power consumption per sheet.

The new technology improves the glass quality and consistency while increasing throughput. Advanced features coupled with Glaston's years of experience are well suited for high volume applications as well as challenging parts.
