Grey Mountain Partners has acquired Columbia Commercial Building Products. Headquartered in Rockwall, Texas, Columbia is a manufacturer of high-performance extruded aluminum windows and storefronts for new and replacement construction.

"We are thrilled to add Columbia Commercial Building Products to our family of security and architectural glass manufacturers," said Beth Lesniak, vice president, Grey Mountain, in a Jan. 11 release. "Columbia will allow us to provide an even more diverse range of product solutions to our customers and opens the door to synergies and cross-selling opportunities among the existing glass fabrication businesses in our portfolio.”

This acquisition is Grey Mountain's fourth in the past week. On Jan. 4, it announced it had purchased Global Security Glazing, the Selma, Ala., manufacturer of institutional security, military, and custom architectural glass and glazing products. On Jan. 6, Grey officials said the firm had acquired Binswanger Enterprises, the Memphis, Tenn., designer, installer and retailer of architectural glass and aluminum products, focused on the maintenance, repair and renovation of residential and commercial buildings, as well as the auto glass replacement market. Then on Jan. 10, Grey Mountain officials revealed they had also purchased Custom Components Co., the Tampa, Fla., manufacturer, fabricator and supplier of aluminum, stainless steel and glass architectural engineered products.
