Heavy snow shattered a skylight above the lobby of the Davenport Hotel in Downtown Spokane Saturday night.

No one was hurt.

Matt Jensen from the Davenport Hotel said at around 9:05 p.m., heavy snow slid off the main roof of the hotel and shattered part of the first of two skylights above the lobby. The first, thicker skylight bore the brunt of the impact, according to Jensen.

A second, thinner, skylight underneath the first had minor damage when some snow and glass fell on it, knocking a small pane of Tiffany glass to the lobby floor, according to a Dec. 28 NWCN.com report.
