Man Crushed by Glass in Aurora, Colo.

A worker at Manko Window Systems in Aurora, Colo., died after being crushed by nearly 4,000 pounds of glass on Saturday morning, June 21. Capt. Diane Lord of the Aurora Fire Department said Saturday that the victim was helping unload wooden crates of glass at the business when the 4,000-pound load fell on top of him, killing him at the scene, according to a KRDO Denver report. No one else was injured. Officials have not yet released the victim's identity.

The Denver Channel reported Manko's past violations with the Occupational Safety and Health Administration, reporting initial penalties for the violations added up to $11,050. OSHA is currently looking into the violations that may have caused Saturday's incident.
