Matthew Johnson Promoted to Chief Technology Officer of Arcom

Arcom recently promoted Matthew Johnson, CSI, to the position of chief technology officer, according to a Nov. 20 company release. In his new role, Johnson will oversee all Arcom technology initiatives, including software development and quality assurance that support MasterSpec, SpecText and the SpecWare suite of specification productivity tools, as well as other services and tools supporting both specifiers and manufacturers, according to the release.

With more than 20 years of experience in software development and expert systems, Johnson joined Arcom in 2009 as the director of manufacturer support services, and has since been instrumental in the development of several Arcom products.

"[Matthew's] proven ability to develop innovative technology solutions to specification needs have already resulted in dynamic new ways to create and edit construction specifications, and he is even now developing some exciting new tools," said Christopher Bushnell, president and CEO of Arcom, in the release.
