Decorative glass company OmniDecor Spa moved all production lines from the Erba, Italy, facility to its recently expanded plant in Giulianova, Italy. The consolidation of production to the Giulianova plant will offer logistic benefits and allow for increased production efficiency, according to company officials.

The Giulianova plant, which has been in operation since 2001 with two production lines, is strategically located near the main Italian highway hubs, the Rome Fiumicino airport, and the main Italian commercial harbors.

The new production site is now operating with five modern production lines. Customers will not feel the impact of the move, as neither production no delivery were affected.

“The new organization gives a lot of energy and enthusiasm to every one of us, and we are ready to launch on the market new and on trend products,” says Ferruccio Bresciani, owner and sole administrator of OmniDecor Spa.

All affected employees at the original Erba plant were offered positions at the expanded Giulianova facility, and some decided to move with the company. OmniDecor has been in labor union negotiations for those who didn’t accept the new positions.
