Salem Flat Glass and Mirror, a division of employee-owned Salem Distributing Company, announced the expansion of its sales and service staff with four additions: Doug Jackson, Joe Cota, Dio Guerra and Wayne Rush. The group collectively brings over 90 years of experience to Salem FGM.

As a machinery sales engineer, Jackson will cover the East Coast, Canada and portions of the Midwest and Southern states. For 25 years, Jackson has consulted, provided installation, relocation, repair and training for major fabricators across the United States. He owned and operated a business dedicated to field service for 15 years and holds a degree in electronic engineering.

Cota, also machinery sales engineer, will cover the West Coast and portions of the South/Southwest. Cota brings 18 years of experience in water-jet technology, CNC, water filtration systems and other equipment drawn from his time with Makino, Intermac/Diamut America and Marmo Elettromaccanica.

Guerra, who will serve as regional account manager and glass fabrication product specialist, will provide leadership and direction in a number of regions. Guerra holds 28 years experience in the glass industry, and comes to Salem from Besana Lovati. At Salem, Guerra will work closely with the management team, and will play an integral role in the continual development and expansion of glass supply accounts.

Rush started in the glass industry in the late 1980s. As Salem’s glass fabrication specialist, he will continue to be involved with sales and service, building and strengthening customer relationships, while managing product and technology additions and innovations. Rush will draw on industry experience accrued at BGM Diamond Tools, Z. Bavelloni spa, Hilemn Machinery and, most recently, Besana-Lovati.
