Scott Wingate Joins DFI as Acting Chief Financial Officer

Diamon-Fusion International added Scott Wingate to its team as acting chief financial officer, according to a DFI release. Wingate has experience in strategic planning, mergers and acquisitions, business development, strategic alliances, project management, corporate culture building and contract negotiations. In his role, Wingate will be responsible for M&A advisory and post-acquisition integration, review/design of control and financial systems, budgets and projections.
 
"With more than three decades of financial leadership experience, we are pleased to welcome Scott to the DFI executive team," said Russell Slaybaugh, general manager and VP, in the release. "Scott's vast financial experience and his track record for success are a great addition to DFI. He is a dynamic, inspirational and results-oriented finance and accounting leader with a strong external network and we look forward to utilizing his many talents."
 
Previously, Wingate served as the chief financial officer for several companies, including EZE Trucking Holdings Inc., a specialized nation-wide heavy hauling trucking company, and Gardenburger, a Kellogg company, according to the release.
