Glaston Announces Executive Appointment, Organizational Changes

Juha Liettyä, a member of Glaston’s Executive Management Group, was appointed senior vice president, Machines Business Area as of Jan. 1, 2014. Liettyä joined Glaston in 1986 and has been a member of the Executive Management Group since 2007. The appointment is part of the streamlining of decision making in the Machines Business Area, and a new senior vice president will not be appointed for the Heat Treatment product line.

Roberto Quintero, senior vice president for Pre-processing and Tools, will return to Finland from Italy for personal reasons on Feb. 28, according to a company release. 

Glaston also transfered the sales and manufacturing of tools from the Machines segment to the Services segment as of Jan. 1, 2014. The transfer enables a more efficient customer service. The first interim report of 2014 will be prepared in accordance with the new business structure, according to the release.
