Mason, Ohio-based Basco Manufacturing Co., a manufacturer of glass shower doors and enclosures, announced today that Steve Lotz has been promoted to the position of president, approved unanimously by Basco’s board of directors. Lotz will continue to serve on the company’s executive committee and help develop and drive Basco’s growth initiatives.
Lotz has been a valuable team member at Basco for 27 years. First overseeing the manufacturing facility in 1994, then becoming the executive vice president of operations for 19 years and most recently being named chief operating officer in 2019, he brings a wealth of manufacturing, engineering and leadership experience.

Rohde. “I am confident in Steve’s leadership as we strive to double our growth over the next several years.”
In his new role, Lotz will be responsible for establishing the company’s annual and long-term strategic goals. His background includes nine years of experience in engineering at General Electric.
