Syracuse Glass Welcomes New Architectural Sales Manager as Tim Kelley Retires

Syracuse Glass Co. announced that after 30-years of dedicated service, Tim Kelley will transition to retirement.

“Tim has been a dedicated member of our organization who has lived and breathed all things glass over the course of his long career,” says SGC Chairman John Dwyer. “Tim has always been an advocate for our valued customers, and we will make certain that we build upon this strong foundation he helped to establish, to continue the Syracuse Glass success story in the service of our customer and TEAM members.”

“In this day and age, it is becoming rare to see an individual who is willing to dedicate his professional career to the interests of one company, and the family and team associated with it,” says said SGC CEO Joe Gudenburr. “Tim has done so, and is respected for his efforts to promote SGC to any and everyone who values the principles of exceptional service, responsiveness, and the benefits of a strategic supply-chain partnership. We all are appreciative of his dedicated effort, and wish he and Peg nothing but happiness as he makes this transition.”

Steve Legg joined Syracuse Glass and will be taking the reins in the position of Architectural Glass sales manager from Kelley. Legg is joining Syracuse Glass after spending the last decade with Guardian Industries in various sales management roles.

“We are extremely pleased to have a well-respected industry veteran like Steve join our team. We have had the great fortune of working closely with him for a number of years, and always found him to be an exceptional supply-chain partner. Steve is a strategic mind, and we are confident that he will bring significant value to the clients that he has responsibility for supporting,” says Gudenburr.
