According to reporting in the Windsor Star, Xinyi Glass Canada will consider a few locations for its planned $450-million float plant. The publication says that the company is looking at Stratford, London, Welland and Amherstburg, all in the province of Ontario, as potential new locations. Xinyi originally chose Guelph/Eramosa Township, Ontario, as the site for the new plant, but its application was rejected by the local council in July 2018.
