Automotive window films
3M, headquartered in St. Paul, Minn., introduced crystalline automotive window films that reduce heat inside the vehicle and glare from the sun, according to a company release. Four tinted versions provide different levels of glare reduction. The films block 99.9 percent of harmful ultraviolet rays with an SPF that exceeds 1700. Metal-free, they do not corrode and have zero interference with mobile phones, global positioning systems and radio reception, according to the release.
