Latch pull

Pomona, Calif. -based Adams Rite Manufacturing Co. will introduce a latch pull, lockable pull handle that provides traffic control flexibility during and after business hours, according to a company release. The latch pull is suitable for banks, apartments and other buildings that require free entrance at certain times and controlled or exit-only access at other times. It features one-handed operation and a key unlocks the device. After the handle is pulled once to open the door, the latch pull returns to the locked position to automatically deny access to anyone without a key. The latch can be set in an unlocked but latched mode, in which use of a key is not necessary. An electrified version integrates with electronic access control systems, allowing it to be unlocked with a swipe of a card or a touch of a button, according to the release. The product comes in three painted finishes and complies with the Americans with Disabilities Act.
