Thermal break assembly equipment

Belgium’s Aluro will display its thermal break assembly equipment, Aluroller and B.T.M. The computer-numerically-controlled Aluroller assembles polyamide or plastic thermal barriers, such as struts, into aluminum profiles for windows, doors and curtain walls. The B.T.M. knurling machine uses hardened knurling wheels to produce teeth in the aluminum that will bite into the strut during the crimping process, and the B.T.M. assembly machine feeds the thermal break strips into the feet of the extrusion. After assembly, the B.T.M. rolling machine performs a rolling and crimping process with rolling discs to combine thermal break with extrusion.
