Angelo Incorvaia, 34

President/owner, AFI Glass & Architectural Metal Inc., Poughkeepsie, N.Y.

Growing up in the glass industry, Incorvaia knew when he started his company that he would commit himself to delivering the highest quality work he could to his customers. With premium materials and a dedicated team of employees behind him, he prides himself on his ability to meet a challenge. “I’ve never backed down from a challenge. I’ve been that way since day one. If there wasn’t a way to do something, I would under all circumstances, figure out what to do to get it done. The message is basically that we’re not out there to be the biggest, but we’re out there to be the best.”

This dedication to service means customers’ projects should not be a stressful experience, he says. “We’re driven to inspire loyalty and keep clients. We want to look so good that our competition looks bad. That’s how we try to present ourselves in the marketplace. This is why you want to hire us because we’re better from the beginning to the end, and you’re going to enjoy working with us. It shouldn’t be a struggle to get a job done. It should be a pleasure to complete a job.”
