Ad Policies


Net amount due 30 days from billing date.  NGA, as credit grantor, may add one and one-half percent (1.5%) per month to any balance owed; in the event of default, advertiser agrees to pay reasonable collection charges and/or attorneys fees. NGA reports all trade experiences to commercial credit bureaus.  Payable in U.S. funds, drawn on a U.S. bank only.

Frequency Discounts

Frequency discounts are earned on placements made within a 12-month period. Failure to insert the required number of placements will result in short-rating.

Production Charges

Print-ready materials are required. A 15% produciton charge will be added for any materials created by NGA staff. Deadline for pubset copy is 45 days prior to issue date. The magazine retains the rights to all ads created by NGA staff; such ads may not be released by the advertiser to competing publications. There is no charge for supplying checking copies to advertisers or for corrections made to electronic files or existing ad materials. Charges for requested color proofs are invoiced at cost. 

Cancellation Policy

The deadline for reserving space in any NGA magazine is 30 days prior to issue date. No cancellations will be accepted after this deadline. Advertisers will be billed the full cost of the advertisement for space reserved when no artwork or instructions are received prior to the artwork deadline.

Free Mailing Labels, List Rentals

Member companies and/or advertisers purchasing a mailing list from NGA must abide by the following conditions:

1) You must provide a final sample of the intended mailing to NGA for prior approval;
2) You must sign a usage agreement stating that the list is for one-time use only and that there will be no attempt to store or re-use the list in any way; and
3) You must use a commercial mail house that agrees to sign a confidentiality agreement with NGA for the mailing.

Publisher's Policies

All advertising is subject to acceptance by the publisher.

Advertising copy not easily distinguishable from editorial will be labeled "advertisement" at the top of the page. Advertisers and their agencies assume liability for all content of their advertisements and inserts and agree to indemnify the publisher for all claims and lawsuits arising therefrom.

Cancellations and/or changes cannot be accepted after the space reservation deadline and must be made in writing. Orders for covers and other special positioning cannot be cancelled. Rebates are not issued for errors resulting from copy changes, late copy or advertiser's failure to follow dimension specifications. Publisher does not guarantee changes or corrections on copy received after the materials deadline. Publisher is not liable for delays in delivery or non-delivery due to any and all conditions, events or circumstances beyond the publisher's control.

For scheduled contracts, if no copy instructions are received by the closing date, the most recent advertisement will run. All pubset copy must be received 45 days prior to issue date.

Advertising orders are accepted on the basis that the advertiser and the advertising agency are jointly and severally liable for payment of space ordered and published. Advertisers are subject to the usual credit inquiries that may be made by NGA, from whatever sources it deems necessary, to certify that the advertiser is of good credit. First-time advertisers must pre-pay.

The publisher cannot be held responsible for errors in the advertising index.

Finally, the publisher will not be bound by any conditions, printed or otherwise, which appear on orders or copy instructions submitted by or on behalf of the advertiser, when such conditions conflict with any provision contained herein.

NGA production personnel will not guarantee far forward or special placement requests unless premium position charges have been paid.
