The players: Architect, Warhsauer Mellusi Warhsauer Architects; general contractor, Ginsberg Development Co.; contract glazier, Pillar Construction; glass manufacturer, Vitro Architectural Glass; window supplier, Crystal Window & Door Systems

The glass and systems: Vitro Architectural Glass supplied 1-inch insulating glass units to the project. All window and door IGUs use Solarban 60 low-emissivity glass and argon gas filling.

Crystal Window & Door Systems supplied over 2,250 windows and doors for the buildings, with the most predominant being the aluminum Series 8600 outswing casement and 8610 picture windows. Almost 1,100 of these 3 ¼-inch jamb depth windows were provided, primarily in vertically stacked combinations. Two or three unequal lites are contained in a single master frame, which in turn were horizontally and vertically mulled with other window and door units to create window walls up to 96 inches high. Crystal mullions, mullion covers and mullion reinforcements facilitated the combination of window units and doors.

Other Crystal products include Series 5600 2-lite sliding windows and Series 5100 fixed picture windows, Series 1280 architecturally rated aluminum 2-lite sliding patio doors, and Series 1450 aluminum swing terrace doors with 12-inch transoms.

All windows, doors and exposed mullions were finished with a durable AAMA 2604 special simulated anodized silver powder coat paint.
