AGC Chief Economist Offers Positive Outlook for Construction Market

The Associated General Contractors of America’s chief economist, Kenneth Simonson, forecast a promising short-term future for both the U.S. economy and the construction market. Simonson cautioned that progress is uncertain for growing market segments, and that the recent presidential election has also injected some uncertainty into the market. Nonetheless, he pointed to the healthy books and positive outlooks of contractors as a reason for optimism.
