Architecture Billings Index makes gains again in December

January 25, 2013

The Architecture Billings Index made gains for the fifth consecutive month in December, according to a Jan. 23 release from the American Institute of Architects. The December ABI score was 52.0, down from 53.2 in November (any score over 50 indicates growth in billings).

"While it's not an across-the-board recovery, we are hearing a much more positive outlook in terms of demand for design services," said AIA Chief Economist, Kermit Baker, in the release.
