Bob Bowman, one of the longest-serving sales representatives at Winco Window, retired from the company. Bowman worked at Winco for 37 years, having started in the window industry in 1955. He will be replaced by Mitch Bell, who is covering Southern California and Arizona for Winco.

“After many years with Winco, Bowman has been a productive and inspirational part of our company,” says Gantt W. Miller III, AIA, CEO of Winco. “His wisdom, expertise and wonderful personality will be missed by all of us.”

Before his time at Winco, Bowman worked for several industry companies, including Four Seasons Windows, Lupton Manufacturing, Rusco Industries and a long stint with Kawneer.

Bowman offered some advice to young professionals wishing to get into the fenestration industry: “Learn how to read a blueprint, and then learn your products inside and out. Architects are always coming up with new ideas and they will challenge you. You’ve got to be smart, and you’ve got to be creative.”
