Douglas "Dick" Marshall Nelson, former CEO of Brin Glass, Passes Away

Douglas "Dick" Marshall Nelson, co-owner and former CEO of Brin Glass, passed away on May 8 from complications related to metastatic prostate cancer, according to reporting by the StarTribune.

Before entering the glass industry, Nelson was a certified public accountant. Together with fellow accountant, Larry Waller, he purchased the Minneapolis-based Brin Northwestern Glass Co. in 1978. In June 2018, Nelson retired as Brin’s CEO; during his tenure, Brin expanded its operations into surrounding cities.
