Day two at GlassBuild America brought better weather, energetic conversations at Express Learning, Dealer Days and exhibitor booths, and the presentation of Glass Magazine’s prestigious 2017 Awards.

The show opened early to maximize contact between exhibitors and customers after flight delays early in the week.

Express Learning included presentations by Mike Burk, who heads the safety council for IGMA, discussing preventing accidents in glass plants; a glass handling panel discussion by experts from Ergo, Quattrolifts and Wood's Powr Grip; a presentation on railing code compliance from CRL and more.

Glass Magazine editor Katy Devlin spoke on exit planning and succession at Dealer Days.

GMA Awards went to winners of nine categories.
