Glaston Completes Acquisition of Bystronic Glass

Officials from Glaston Corp. announced the company has finalized its acquisition of Bystronic Maschinen AG and Bystronic Lenhardt GmbH and subsidiaries for $76 million. The acquisition was initially announced in January.

The new executive management group will include Arto Metsänen, president and CEO of Glaston, Sasu Koivumäki, chief operations officer and integration lead, Burghard Schneider, who will take responsibility for Bystronic Glass, and Juha Liettyä who will be responsible for Glaston Technologies.
