Brian Thomas was named president of Super Sky, a subsidiary of Trulite Glass & Aluminum Solutions, filling the position left by recently retired Jim Roesing, the company's president since 1987.

Roesing spent more than 47 years in the engineered commercial skylight business. During his tenure at Super Sky, he was involved in major projects on every continent, including Santiago Calatrava Art Museum, Mall of America, Palaces in Brunei and Thailand, numerous Smithsonian installations, malls in Portugal and Korea, residences in Nigeria, hotels in China and schools in Brazil.

"We will miss Jim's first-rate leadership as well as his stewardship, said Paul Schmitz, Trulite CEO. "Jim is a true entrepreneur in the finest sense, committed to serving and providing each customer he touched a remarkable experience."

Thomas was most recently vice president of operations at Madison Glass Co., and has more than 15 years of experience in the fabrication and construction business.

“Brian’s strong track record of success in roles of increasing importance and responsibility make it clear that he is the ideal person to take the reins from Jim Roesing," continued Schmitz. "His strong operational background and customer centric attitude will continue to grow Super Sky where Jim has left off.”
