Solaria Announces Additions to Advisory Council and Leadership Team

Solaria Corp., global provider of solar module technologies, has expanded its leadership team and Advisory Council. Scott Hoover has been appointed vice president of sales, Building Solutions, North America. An accomplished industry veteran from leading companies AGC and Pilkington, as well as innovative value-added technology providers, Hoover will work with prominent building and construction partners to bring to market powered-by-Solaria building integrated photovoltaic solutions. 

In addition, Scott Thomsen, co-founder of Innoscovery, and Emanuel Salmona, head of Global Business Development in the Building Technologies Division at Siemens, have joined Solaria’s Advisory Council. Thomsen brings years as an experienced innovator and leader in international business, most recently as president at Guardian Glass, along with extensive insight in investing and advising clean technology companies. As a consultant to early stage companies in smart energy and the Internet of Things space, Salmona offers expertise in the technology, market drivers and new business opportunities for intelligent buildings that will positively contribute to the smart grid of the future.
