Trump Administration Imposes 25% Tariffs on Chinese Goods

As of May 10, the U.S. raised tariffs on 5,700 different categories of products to 25 percent, according to reporting by Reuters. The Trump administration imposed a tariff of 10 percent on about $200 billion in Chinese imports on Sept. 17. The new tariffs went into effect on the second day of trade talks with Liu He, the Chinese vice premier; affected products will include float glass and fabricated glass.
