Kawneer introduces a new product in its curtain wall framing product portfolio with the introduction of the 1600UT SS Curtain Wall System. Designed to meet the building and construction industry’s thermal needs, the 1600UT SS offers an overall system U-factor of 0.29 while using standard 1” glass/COG 0.24. For markets with additional thermal needs, this system can achieve an overall system U-factor of 0.24 with 1’ glass/COG 0.20.
Powerfully combining the ultra-thermal efficiency of the 1600UT System™ 1 with the screw spline construction of the 1600 SS Curtain Wall, this system delivers ultra-thermal performance, faster installation with a semi-unitized frame design, and compliance with the latest seismic standards.
With a sleek 2-1/2″ (63.5mm) sightline, the 1600UT SS delivers a clean, modern facade and offers both inside and outside glazing options. It also integrates seamlessly with other Kawneer systems, providing a comprehensive, ultra-thermal solution from a single trusted source.
