Vitro has plans to build two new factories in Egypt with around $400 million in investments, according to a release from Zawya.
A factory for manufacturing glass will be set up spanning 1.1 million feet, while another factory will be built on 493,000 feet of land for producing container glass.
The company also targets exporting most of its output from the factories.
Both factories will be established as per the free zones system, and provide about 1,500 new jobs.
