What Giroux says
“It’s truly reassuring to receive recognition from an external source, affirming the positive culture we continuously foster within our workplace. Being ranked among the top companies in Los Angeles, the largest county in the U.S., further validates that we are on the right track," says Nataline Lomedico, CEO and president, Giroux Glass. "Our employees are invaluable to us, and their satisfaction is paramount. We take pride in creating an engaging work environment where our team members feel valued and appreciated. This acknowledgment serves as a testament to our commitment to our people, and I’m grateful for this recognition for our 100% employee-owned company.”
How it works
The evaluation process for the Best Places to Work in Los Angeles award is comprised of two parts. The first part involves assessing each nominated company’s benefits, policies, practices and demographics, which accounts for approximately 20% of the total evaluation. The second part consists of an employee survey, which measures the employee experience and makes up around 80% of the total evaluation. Workforce Research Group oversaw the registration, survey and analysis phases to determine the final rankings.
“We take immense pride in our inclusion among the Best Workplaces, a testament to Giroux Glass’s unwavering dedication to nurturing the growth and well-being of our exceptional team,” says Debra Phillips, head of human resources, Giroux Glass. “Our ability to deliver impactful results for our clients stems from our employees realizing their full potential. To facilitate this, we provide enriching development avenues within an inclusive and collaborative environment that places great emphasis on holistic well-being.”
The official rankings were unveiled at a dinner event on August 9, 2023, and were subsequently published in the August 14, 2023, issue of the Los Angeles Business Journal.
