3form has introduced its Etched Glass Collection, featuring textural, patterned glass in six new patterns.
The new patterns
The collection includes six patterns ranging from florals to bold curves. Among them, three patterns are biophilia-inspired and are currently available as pattern options in Varia, the company’s translucent, formable resin. These include the Star Flower Etch, the Mountain Fern Etch and the Anahew Palm Etch.
The remaining three patterns are an adaptation of the company’s Textures Collection, released in September 2023. The Art Deco inspired Deco Etch features offset curves and lines. Bravo Etch and Shutter Etch adorn both sides of the glass—Bravo exhibits a three-dimensional, geometric design, while Shutter’s offset lines offer enhanced privacy.
This collection adds to the company’s 26 existing glass-etch patterns.
“We are scratching the surface of our glass capabilities,” says 3form’s Chief Creative Officer Ryan Smith. “This collection is just a starting point—when you think about pairing these etch patterns with color and our different hardware and glass solutions, you realize the options are limitless.”
The Etched Glass Collection is available in monolithic or laminated glass specified with low-iron or clear-float, and comes in a maximum panel size of 5 feet by 10 feet with 3/16-inch, 1/4-inch, 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch gauges. The Shutter Etch is only available as a monolithic, low-iron lite and comes in 3/8-inch and 1/2-inch gauges. Designers should anticipate a lead time of five weeks.
