PCT Global launched its latest innovation in the X-Line machinery range—the new horizontal X-Line coating machine. Known for easy-to-clean glass treatments offered by its flagship brand, EnduroShield, PCT Global continues to push boundaries with cutting-edge glass coating equipment.
About the X-Line
The X-Line machines, available in both vertical and horizontal orientations, provide single- and double-sided coating options. With the addition of the new horizontal orientation, it allows for the continuous online coating of glass when installed at the end of a tempering line, without the need for double handling. Alternatively, it can be operated as a stand-alone unit, with varying widths available.
Key features of the horizontal X-Line:
- Single- and double-sided coating in one pass: Offers versatile coating options to meet varying production needs.
- High speed: Continuous coating with line speeds of up to 14 meters per minute (46 feet/min).
- Seamless integration: Ability to treat multiple panels of glass side by side in batches directly from the tempering furnace, dramatically enhancing throughput and reducing labor.
- Built to last: The X-Line requires minimal maintenance and does not require frequent surface restoration from corrosion like some other competitor options.
