Permasteelisa Group has appointed Anna Foden as its first-ever head of sustainability.
Foden's experience and responsibilities
With more than 20 years of experience in the sector across construction and consultancy, spanning the U.S., UK, Europe and the Middle East, Foden joins Permasteelisa after leaving a similar role at ISG. After a year at the US Green Building Council NCR Chapter in 2010, she joined Max Fordham as sustainability assessor in 2012 before joining ISG in 2019, where she started as senior sustainability manager before becoming its head of sustainability for their fit-out, retail and data center business units.
In her new role, Foden will report directly to Group Innovation Director Kim Palmen-Koop, leading the company's drive towards a net-zero future.
With experience focused on strategy and implementation around carbon reduction, the circular economy, biodiversity and supply chain sustainability, Foden's expertise, together with her background, makes her ideal for this new role, according to the company.
What people are saying

"She is an experienced senior sustainability professional with a background in construction and an excellent level of familiarity for the built environment ecosystem. We are so excited to have her on the team and loo forward to working with her on what is a crucial next step for Permasteelisa Group."
"I'm impressed with the existing innovation, and crucially, the drive at Permasteelisa Group, to showcase the value the company brings around sustainability from design, manufacture, through to construction and aftercare in everything from whole-life carbon reductions, circularity, responsible sourcing, and beyond," says Foden
