U.S. DOE Sponsoring Building Envelope Innovation Prize

The U.S. Department of Energy's Building Technologies Office is sponsoring the Building Envelope Innovation Prize to incentivize high-performance, cost-effective, secondary glazing systems on commercial windows.

Experts from the DOE and National Renewable Energy Laboratory will answer questions on the contest and prize. Experts will share details on the prize goals, timeline, eligibility, application requirements and will include time for discussion.  

The prize will offer $2 million in cash prizes to enable equitable decarbonization and optimize building envelopes for electrification.
