AGNORA installed two new pieces of equipment: North America’s largest Intermac Double Edging Machine F10 and the Synergx Surfx Scanner. These investments reflect AGNORA’s ongoing commitment to precision, efficiency, and delivering unmatched quality to its clients, say officials.
How the equipment expands the company’s capabilities
The Intermac Double Edging Machine F10 is designed to ensure distortionless edges and consistency, enhancing AGNORA’s ability to meet the intricate demands of architects and designers.
Complementing this advancement is the Synergx Surfx Scanner, a diagnostic tool that analyzes each glass pane for imperfections such as nicks, seeds, foreign materials or blemishes, ensuring a high standard of quality control. By identifying anomalies invisible to the naked eye, the Synergx Scanner allows AGNORA to deliver high quality glass products and maximizes throughput to other processes on the plant floor, eliminating rejects found at lamination and insulated glass processing.
What the company says
“These technological advancements symbolize AGNORA’s relentless pursuit of innovation,” says Graeme Scobbie, vice president of operations at AGNORA. “We recognize the evolving, competitive landscape, and installation of the Intermac F10 and Synergx Surfx increases overall throughput and efficiency and solidifies our position as a leader in delivering architectural glass solutions that align with the luxury retail, commercial and residential market’s expectation of quality.”
