CRL continues to provide options for its railing and windscreen systems with the introduction of two new gate products. The Polaris Power Gate Close and Polaris Soft-Close Gate Hinge address key closing issues for advanced gating systems.
Both new Polaris solutions are compatible with CRL’s ARS Aluminum Railing System and Aluminum Windscreen System. Each new solution supports gates up to 100 pounds.

Polaris Power Gate Close
The magnetic Polaris Power Gate Close helps solve the issue of closing stubborn gates, especially those with electric strike locks. Designed for heavy-duty, safety and security gates, the Polaris Power Gate Close delivers a strong close. For challenging applications, multiple units can be installed to optimize performance.

Polaris Soft-Close Gate Hinge
The Polaris adjustable soft-close gate hinge is engineered to smoothly slow down and gently close when the gate comes within 15 degrees of the closed position, even in areas where wind can inhibit closure. With its controlled-closing action, the new Polaris hinge prevents the gate from slamming shut which can cause damage and generate unwanted sound that startles homeowners, guests and pets. Closing speed can be easily and quickly adjusted with an Allen wrench.
Constructed from 2205 duplex stainless steel and superior plastic covers, the Polaris Soft-Close Gate Hinge is constructed to handle harsh outdoor environments. The new hinge works with gates constructed from a variety of materials, including glass, metal, wood and vinyl. Tested to 25,000 cycles, the new hinge is engineered for long-lasting performance on railing systems for decks, balconies, patios, and other outdoor spaces.
