To support the growth of the MyGlassTruck division, Victory Truck Body, Inc., formerly Demountable Concepts, is building a new 65,000 square-foot manufacturing facility in Glassboro, New Jersey. This addition, located alongside its current 50,000 square-foot facility, more than doubles the company’s total manufacturing space to 115,000 square feet. The company plans to move into the completed facility by June 2025.
Expansion details
This building will increase MyGlassTruck’s efficiency by consolidating its assembly processes into manufacturing cells focused solely on each division and function. The facility will include a multi-truck-sized downdraft paint booth and overhead cranes, complementing the robotic and human welding capabilities, CNC laser cutter and advanced aluminum fabrication and assembly techniques utilized in the current building.
The upgrade, combined with added space, will streamline production and allow MyGlassTruck to meet rising demand for its glass truck bodies and trailers; bolt-on glass racks for vans and pick-up trucks; glass carts and dollies; parts and accessories; and rack installation services. A smaller incubator building was added last year so MyGlassTruck’s in-house engineering team can prototype glass transport innovations without interrupting the manufacturing process.
What company leadership says
“As demand for our glass transport and truck body solutions continues to grow this investment allows us to improve quality and efficiency, while increasing production to meet tight schedules and maintain the highest standard of craftsmanship. Bringing more of our manufacturing in-house strengthens our ability to provide customers with the vehicles and equipment they need, when they need them,” says Rustin Cassway, CEO of Victory Truck Body.
