The two-day CircuClarity One conference will be held October 22-23 as part of glasstec 2024, taking place at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany, from October 22-25, 2024. This event will bring together international experts from the glass industry and researchers to present and discuss innovative approaches to circularity. The conference will be from 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in Hall 11, Stage 3.
What to expect
Incorporating CircuClarity One, glasstec will provide a platform for exchange and innovation in 2024. It will showcase proven processes, trendsetting products and scalable methods that aim to drive circularity in the glass and façade sectors. It will connect a wide range of stakeholders, including representatives of manufacturing, processing, engineering, architecture and science. CircuClarity One will act as a special interface between science and industry.
“We aim to offer a platform for knowledge exchange that leads to genuine progress and innovation in the sector,” says Lisa Rammig, director, Eckersley O'Callaghan.
The program will include numerous lectures and panel discussions showing how circularity can be established in the glass industry. A special focus will be on proven successful strategies that not only work in theory but can also be implemented in practical terms.
“Circularity is one of the key drivers for innovation in the sector,” says Linda Hildebrand.
The idea for the CircuClarity initiative was born at glasstec in 2022, and what started as a small impulse has developed into a pioneering movement. Rammig described this development as a response to the need for circular solutions in the glass industry. “The feedback was spectacular and the initiative quickly grew into a movement driven by a strong interest in change.” With the CircuClarity One Conference, the initiative will celebrate its premiere and return to glasstec. It will present the progress made over the past two years and look into the future of the glass industry.
The two-day program of CircuClarity One will feature up to 20 talks addressing topics such as:
- Design for Disassembly & Product Development / Glass as a Scarce Resource, a Scenario of Tomorrow
- Resources / Silicones and the Reuse of Glass
- Material Recovery Systems & Energy / Lisec supports the circularity of flat glass with IG-D
A special highlight of the event will be the CircuClarity Award, which recognizes innovative contributions to the circular economy in the glass and façade industry. The registration deadline is Sept. 20, 2024.
