Filipino Glass Manufacturer Acquires AGC Flat Glass Philippines Inc.

TQMP Glass Manufacturing Corp., a Philippines-based glass manufacturer, finalized its acquisition of AGC Flat Glass Philippines Inc. The acquisition was first announced in June 2017. TQMP acquired 100 percent of the company’s issued and outstanding shares.
The facility is located in the city of Pasig on a 3-million-square-foot property, and can produce 500 tons per day. Masahiro Takeda, AGC regional president for the Asia Pacific general division, says that even after the acquisition, AGC will be working with TQMP.
