Fuyao Glass America Inc. created the Fuyao Glass America Hardship Fund, a hardship relief fund to be administered through The Dayton Foundation. Eligible employees who have experienced financial setbacks due to illness or accident; a death in the family; the destruction of a personal residence; or medical expenses can apply for a grant through the fund.
“In appreciation of the tremendous efforts and contributions by our employees, we, in cooperation with The Dayton Foundation, established the Fuyao Glass America Hardship Fund,” says Sunny Sun, chairwoman of Fuyao International. “We hope the hardship fund will provide the much-needed support to our employees when they face unexpected setbacks."
The Dayton Foundation will appoint a selection committee to approve grants, which range from $500 to $3,000.
